Directed by Grant Sputore, known for the sci-fi gem I Am Mother, this sequel is still very much in production. But the hype machine is already in full swing. The official Godzilla x Kong page on X (yes, formerly Twitter, we know, cringe) dropped a cryptic message: “Please stand by. Your call is very important to us.” It also came with a phone number, yes, really, inviting fans to report a Titan sighting.

Of course, the fans wasted no time sliding into comment sections with raw, unfiltered energy. One long-time Godzilla enthusiast made it clear: they are only hyped if Big G gets the screen time he deserves. Others practically begged the studio not to fumble the script, with someone straight-up saying that the writing better not be trash this time. Godzilla x Kong: Supernova will throw fresh human characters into the mix, all while the Titans (yes, Godzilla and Kong, our giant angry boys) deal with a looming world-ending catastrophe. Basically, it is going to be chaotic, dramatic, and hopefully epic.
